This review is from: Scotts Super Turf Builder WinterGuard Lawn Fertilizer with PLUS 2 Weed Control - 17 lb. 29205 (Lawn & Patio) From my experience using this product, I can say that it did the work for me. It didn't burn my lawn because I followed the spraying instructions on the bag. It helped my lawn during a very rough winter...the only negative I would say is that the weed control doesn't seem to work well at all. It might help a little, but the weeds will continue to grow, no doubt about that. If you are interested in keeping your lawn green and healthy, you might want to go for the WinterGuard with no Weed Control, and then use something more effective against the weeds; it will also save you a lot of money. Overall, it is a good product, but not great. Does its job, nothing special about it; that is why I rated it 4 stars. |
